Sophia came over and the kids had a little play date. We had a lot of fun together - probably too much fun since Deacon crashed about an hour into it and slept most of the time she was there.

Thanksgiving Thursday

I know its redundant - but when I think of what I am thankful for the first thing that comes to my mind is Deacon. I can't even start out a simple prayer without thanking God for my perfect baby. So sometimes I can't think of anything original to say for Thanksgiving Thursday. He's my miracle - I waited years for him - I endured suffering to get him here - I will always be thankful for him. But - for the fun of it I will try to come up with a few other things.

1. I'm thankful for the chance to meet my friend Jessica and her son Noah. They will be coming to Houston in Sept to stay with us for a few days.

2. I'm thankful that I have a car that seats 7. This morning I brought 6 people (including myself) to work so the extra seating was very much needed.

3. I'm thankful that this weekend I may be able to catch up on some much needed rest.

4. I'm thankful for a successful housewarming party for my mom and a great bday party for Justin. But I'm also thankful that those two busy weekends are now behind me.

5. I'm thankful that I only have one more work day before the weekend starts!
