our busy weekend

this weekend was packed with family, friends, and lots of fun activities. friday night we had a family dinner, just the three of us, at culver's. saturday mia and chris came over so deacon and mia could play in the water outside. then tina and carissa came over to play and we went to the mall with them were we ate at chick-fil-a before we rode the carousel. that night paige and javi came to spend the night. sunday we had a really busy day. first thing in the morning we all met up at the park and took family pictures. it was a surprise for mimi for her birthday. that was a lot of fun and we pulled of the surprise perfectly. before heading to lunch we ran to starbucks where we saw a special treat! a jersey that justin designed for the MS150 was being worn by a biker. of course, i had to get a picture to show off his work - after thoroughly embarrassing justin! then we had lunch with family and friends at olive garden to celebrate!

unfortunately our day ended on a sad note. my sweet friend gina lost her dad this week so my mom and i went to the funeral home for visitation. bill garton was such a sweet man that really meant a lot to me. it was so hard to go but i'm really glad we did. i'll miss you mr. garton - <3 george

deacon loves to wave hi to everyone we pass - every.single.time!

the back of the jersey that justin designed (the guy sitting in the center) i took this picture from inside sbux before justin finally gave in and said i could go ask the guy for a real picture.

the guy graciously modeling the front for me :) love it! (at this point justin had high tailed it to the car to hide in embarrassment)
