Big Weekend for Deacon

This has already been a big weekend for Deacon and we haven't even gone to our Easter lunch at Uncle Chris' yet.

On Friday Deacon ate all his cereal and was still hungry. Instead of just topping him off with a bottle I gave him a jar of bananas. He loved them! He didn't want the jar to end. That was his first time to eat baby food without it being in cereal.

On Saturday we went to the Easter service at church. Afterward was a big Easter Egg hunt and we let Deacon participate. :) We sat him in the grass by an egg and let him pick it up. Justin wanted to get a picture on his camera phone so I quickly let go of Deacon and instead of falling over, he sat up by himself! He continued to do it on and off all night at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Today, Easter morning, he did a trick we have been waiting for...he rolled over! It didn't happen once, or twice, or even three times...no, he rolled over four times!!! We got it on video so we will post it soon. I am so proud of my big boy. He is nappy now, apparently new tricks wear him out. :)

I can't wait for him to roll over at daycare. Once he does he can start sleeping on his belly at nap time, that means a better quality nap for him.
