Today we joined Gateway Baptist Church. Gateway is located at the entrance to our subdivision, within a mile from our house, maybe one day we will even walk to a service. We have been attending on and off since the summer but after I had Deacon we quit going. About 6 weeks ago we decided we need to be in church but mostly we wanted Deacon in church.
So today we went to a class led by the pastor to get to know about the church. We liked him and what the church was about so we agreed to join. As we were introduced to the congregation the pastor said that he had been trying to figure out how to get some younger deacons in the church and now he has one :)
We are excited to meet new people and to get involved.
